Where we operate in the UK & Austria

We have been running development training courses in the lovely Hope Valley in the UK's wonderful Peak District National Park now since 1981. For the last 24 years we have owned and operated our own base, Rock Lea Centre, in the very heart of the charming, unspoiled village of Hathersage. It's a good location for us for many reasons - and the fact that we have sole use of a 2,000 acre + upland estate means we are never going be short of places for quiet, uninterrupted peaceful outdoor sessions all year around. There are a number of tried and trusted hotels in and around Hathersage, plus nearby conference centres and private hostels which we can use to base conferences and training & development programmes.

Because we have been running businesses in and around the Hope Valley for many years we have excellent local links with all kinds of accommodation organisers....and our knowledge of where to go and where to avoid is second to none.

In addition to running events in and near Hathersage, we have also been asked to run courses and programmes farther afield, such as in Switzerland and Germany. We now offer clients the choice of events based in the Hope Valley in the UK or in the wonderful "Skiwelt" area which includes the villages of Soll, Scheffau, Going and Ellmau in the lovely Wilderkaisergebirge Mountain area of the Republic of Austria's Tyrol Region.

We now have several excellent bases where courses can be run in the area around Ellmau - which is mid way between Innsbruck and Salzburg international airports. The lifts operate all year round, so this makes a great place for courses moving around the mountains and taking in some fabulous scenery.

In the UK we have frequently had groups staying at places such as the Kenwood Hall Hotel ( above ) where we can sometimes offer overnight accommodation ( twin rooms ) with a full English breakfast for as little as £50 per night. The George Hotel and Restaurant ( above ) is a popular privately managed three star Best Western hotel right in the centre of the village of Hathersage which offers comfortable rooms, excellent dining and wining - plus a number of useful board rooms and break out rooms. This hotel is almost right next to our centre - Rock Lea and has been used by many of our corporate clients over the years.
